PTA & Site Council Meetings

For the 2025/2026 school year Site Council and PTA meetings will be held at Wenonah & Keewaydin.
 

The Site Council will meet from 5:30-6:30 followed by the PTA meeting from 6:45-7:45. Childcare and dinner are always provided.​

Some topics discussed at the meetings are how the PTA spends funding it generates from fundraising activities and how LNCS PTA is working to be as equitable as possible. We will attempt to provide clarity on how our primary function and spending is to provide educational enhancements to the students of LNCS. We will also discuss the different methods we utilize to provide the opportunity for all our LNCS families to participate in all of our events regardless of a family’s ability to financially assist with our fundraising efforts.

The principals at both Keewaydin and Wenonah may also attend meetings to provide thoughts on these subjects as well as how Minneapolis Public Schools provides funding to different schools based upon different factors.

You don't have to be a member to get involved. Staying informed about what's going on at your child's school is a great way to start.
