Welcome to the LNCS PTA
The mission of the Lake Nokomis Community School Parent Teacher Association (LNCSPTA) is to provide enriched learning opportunities for the students of Wenonah and Keewaydin Community Schools including field trips, other learning opportunities and classroom supplies. Our primary function is to provide fundraising for these opportunities.
WHAT:
Elections will be held for positions of Secretary, Treasurer, President, and President elect
WHEN:
May 22, 2025
at our last PTA Meeting of the year which will be on Thursday
WHY:
By working together, the PTA helps enhance the educational experience, provides support for school activities, and advocates for the needs of students

More about the PTA positions up for election:
The President of the PTA serves as the primary leader and organizer of the association, guiding
its mission and ensuring that its goals are met.
The Secretary helps ensure that the PTA stays organized, informed, and connected, playing a
vital role in the success of the organization.
The President-Elect of the PTA is a leadership position designed to prepare for the role of
President. The President-Elect role is focused on leadership development, to learn and lead
alongside experienced officers.
