Welcome to the LNCS PTA

The mission of the Lake Nokomis Community School Parent Teacher Association (LNCSPTA) is to provide enriched learning opportunities for the students of Wenonah and Keewaydin Community Schools including field trips, other learning opportunities and classroom supplies. Our primary function is to provide fundraising for these opportunities.

Are you a THRIVENT member? If so, there may be two ways you can donate to the LNCS PTA:

1) Thrivent Choice Dollars

If you’re an eligible Thrivent Financial member and have Choice Dollars® available to direct, you can direct those to the Lake Nokomis Community School PTA. Please visit How to Direct Thrivent Choice Dollars.

2) Thrivent Action Team

You may be eligibe for one or two Action Teams. An Action Team is $250 in seed money that could go towards materials or working in partnership for a PTA fundraiser! The best part is it only costs $25/year and can be used to host an LNCS gathering!

Please Donate Gift Cards to the

“LNCS Holiday Adopt a Family” Event

This year we are collecting gift cards to give to LNCS families who could use a little support this holiday season. Gift cards provide a Covid-19 safe alternative to wrapped gifts and empower families to choose what is needed most during this holiday season. Gift cards open up opportunities for families to provide groceries for a family dinner, warm clothes, toiletries, toys and games to their loved ones.

Cards from Target, Walmart, Cub and Aldi are most convenient for families to use. Smaller denominations of cards work best - like $10, 20 or $25.

Please drop off cards 11/17-11/20 at Crosstown Covenant Church, 5540 30th Ave. S, from 9am-3pm (They have generously agreed to be our collection site.) Enter the main doors and bring gift cards to their office.
