Welcome to the LNCS PTA
The mission of the Lake Nokomis Community School Parent Teacher Association (LNCSPTA) is to provide enriched learning opportunities for the students of Wenonah and Keewaydin Community Schools including field trips, other learning opportunities and classroom supplies. Our primary function is to provide fundraising for these opportunities.
LUNCHROOM Volunteers AT KEEWAYDIN
There are openings to help in the lunch room on Mondays and Thursdays and it is a pretty cool gig. Time is from 11-1.
Duties include helping students with questions, washing tables and helping open the occasional stuck container, cheese stick or yogurt (technique is crucial as you don't want to spill it!)
Keeping our Communities Safe
The LNCS PTA supports all members of our community. The ICE raids are not welcome in our community and we stand with our immigrant friends, neighbors, and community members. Please check in on your friends and neighbors during this troubling time.
There are resources available through Monarca. These resources are designed to help protect immigrant rights and keep our communities safe. Their training sessions are full, but you can find informative and helpful information at their website.
